Tertiary Education Commission

Workforce Development has been a significant provider of education and training programmes under Investment Plan to the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC), since its inception in 2003.

The Tertiary Education Commission - Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua - is a Crown Entity that is responsible for the provision of funding, in part, of Workforce Development's national certificate qualifications. TEC also administers other programmes delivered by Workforce Development such the Workplace Literacy, Training Opportunities and Youth Training.
